This blog is about various stuff, mainly acoustics, structural mechanics and programming. Lately my focus has been on other things, but if I find an interesting topic that I want to investigate and write about here, I'll write about it.
About me. I'm Kai Saksela and I work at Noiseless Acoustics, a growing company where we do a lot of really fancy and interesting stuff. I've also been doing some research at Aalto University every now and then, and sometimes I do a bit of IT work through my small one-man firm Kaistale. In the past, I've also been working at construction companies and acoustic consultancies. Also, I've been flipping burgers at a burger joint, been a cashier at a grocery store, done some web development at a medical research center, briefly been a substitute teacher at a school and even done a bit of phone interviewing for a while.
Most of my posts are related to acoustics and vibration analysis. Additionally, entrepreneurship is something very close to my heart, but I will not write too much about that as a topic in itself.
Please don't hesitate to contact me, be it to challenge my views or to suggest new projects for me to work on! If you find an error in any of my blog posts, you should definitely contact me. For emailing me you can use my first name, followed by kaistale.com.
